Doors

All doors come on a pre-hung 1-1/2” structural steel frame and are constructed of 14 & 16 gauge structural steel.

For optimum load support: the doors are supported on 1” heavy-duty ball bearing hinges.

Actual door weight varies depending on size and intricacy of design.
A 3’-0” x 8’-0” door weighs approximately 225-250 lbs.

All door jambs can be manufactured in 4”, 6”, 7” and 8” widths.

All doors have a 1-5/8” bottom opening for threshold and sweep clearance.

All doors come with operable glass panels that open and lock independently from the door unit. Panels are fitted with optional ¼” tempered glass.

Our standard hardware specification is 2-1/8” boring, 2-3/8” backset and 5-1/2” center to center on the hardware.

All doors are insulated and have weather stripping around all openings.

Our designs can be manufactured in various styles, such as, Eyebrow top, Arch top, Square top, Single door, Double door, with Side Lites, or with Transom.
